As a Social Worker, I have specialized in helping those experiencing grief and loss, including complex grief such as loss by suicide, sudden loss, and youth who have lost a parent. Often, this also includes work with trauma, anxiety, and overwhelming feelings. You may be exhausted from managing emotions that sometimes feel too big to hold. Maybe grief arrives in waves, or you’re trying to make sense of the complexities surrounding loss. You want understanding, relief, and a gentle place to land. I hope to provide a space rooted in support, compassion, and warmth where these feelings will be seen as real, valid, and meaningful. Clients often describe me as warm, kind, and (at least a little bit) funny.
I draw from the teachings of Alan Wolfelt, and the modalities of EFT, DBT, and IFS, paying close attention to attachment and relational needs. In practice, this means we will explore emotions and experiences with curiosity, softness, and without judgment. When helpful, we may also integrate practical skills to support you in managing intense emotions in daily life.
If you’re carrying grief or loss that feels too heavy to hold alone, you don’t have to navigate it by yourself. I’d be honoured to walk alongside you as you process, heal, and find a gentler relationship with yourself and your grief. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can see if working together feels like a good fit.
